We Buy Jewelry
Selling Your Jewelry
We appraise & buy jewelry made by famous makers, such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany, Bulgari & Buccellati. We will inspect used watches by Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Contantin, Omega, Audemars Piquet, Breguet, as well as pieces without identified pedigree. We are also qualified experts of Native American Turquoise Navajo Indian jewelry, Taxco & Mexican silver by Spratling.
We are appraisers and buyers of sterling silver flatware, rare coins, gold, precious metals, platinum, paintings, fine art, jade & Asian antiques, artifacts and Persian rugs. We provide estate liquidation services, auctioneers and auction services. We also purchase second hand jewelry, broken jewelry, gemstones and diamonds over 1 carat, as well as rare books, old musical instruments, guitars, violins, firearms, guns, weapons, swords, canes and walking sticks.
Direct Sale
After arriving at a mutually agreeable price that you want to sell your jewelry at, we provide immediate cash payment.
Personal Service
At Bella Rosa Galleries you can always expect to be treated honestly, discreetly and with kindness. After dealing with literally thousands of sellers of all kinds, we are fully considerate of the charged emotions that are often involved when you sell wedding or engagement rings, precious metals, diamonds, or family treasures. As a diamond buyer, our goal is to build a relationship of mutual trust with our clients whether we are buying or selling fine antique and estate jewelry. We're one of the oldest jewelers in Santa Barbara, CA.
Consignment
With the exception of most modern cut solitaire diamond rings, a consignor can expect to receive about 20% to 30% more than an outright sale price if you are in no great hurry to liquidate an item.
- The net price is established at time of consignment, not upon sale.
- No Commission Fees
- No Insurance Fees
- No Photography Fees
- No Marketing Fees
- No "Fine Print" Conditions
- You remain the owner of the property until sold.
- Your jewelry is fully insured by our jewelers block policy while in our possession.
How Long Does It Take?
Receiving goods under consignment plans, we prefer to have 120 days minimum as it gives us time to photograph, catalogue, and adequately market your jewelry. A consignor may make the decision at any time to opt for a direct sale. We can usually offer our best hunch based on our combined lifetimes of jewelry experience, but the truth is that we are as often pleasantly surprised as we are puzzled. As a jewelry buyer, we find our clientele's interest is to stop in & browse our antique and vintage estate jewelry.
